Rebekah Shelton is NOT dead

After living as a trans woman for two years prior, she announced the news on social media saying: "I've had my sex change in Rio with Dr Marcio Littleton".

She said: "Hi everyone, I would just like to ask everyone to stop spreading rumours that I'm dead because obviously I'm not". I'm so sorry. I remember watching her on Big Brother a few years ago and I loved her personality. I've been through hell today, because someone used my Twitter account to write that stupid status about this.

'This person can not accept the fact that I am happy, that I've finally overcome my problems. I am in Arabia and I am not dead.

"Big Brother" has been one of the UK's biggest reality shows ever since its initial series in 2000.

"I would say think twice, go for some therapy and wait to see if you really want it".

'I lost friends, it divided my family and I had to undergo 16 surgeries. And she achieved so much through her transition'.

'We're sorry to inform everyone of the sad news that our wonderful and lovely Rebekah died unexpectedly on Wednesday nigh', it read.

Shelton did not make clear whether she knew the person she claims hacked her account, or whether she would be pursuing legal action.

She appeared on ITV show Judge Rinder in 2016 to confront a woman she was accusing of obsessive stalking, and spoke about her long and painful journey to self-acceptance.

"At first you have to face yourself as it's not easy to be a different person, or what's considered different".

A source close to the star's family, who still refer to her as Rodrigo, told MailOnline that her relatives thought she had actually died and were "grieving this morning", but also revealed that some suspect it was a publicity stunt.

Of being abandoned after undergoing surgery, she said: "I wanted to kill myself, it was a nightmare".

'The only thing I wish is that that my family will learn to accept me. I'm not sure what I would do if I could go back in time'.
