The company has also revealed via Weibo that it's going to release a stable version of Oreo for the original Nokia 6 in China over the next few days. It has released Android 8.0 Oreo for the Nokia 6 (2018) as well as the Nokia 7 which was launched in October past year.

In addition to Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 7, the company also announced the availability of Android 8.0 Oreo for the Nokia 6 handset launched in 2017.

Interestingly, the Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 7, and Nokia 6 (2017) all are now running Android Nougat - despite the fact that the latest Nokia 6 model was just earlier this month.

After releasing the update in South Korea, LG has started testing Android 8.0 Oreo for the V30 in the US.

As per usual, the Oreo update includes picture-in-picture, notification dots, overall better performance, and more. The only difference between the two phones is screen size - the Nokia 7 sports a 5.2-inch screen with a Full HD resolution, while the Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch screen with a Full HD resolution.

As it stands, the Nokia 7 and Nokia 6 (2018) are both exclusive to the Chinese market, although it seems likely that at least the new Nokia 6 will make it to other regions, including the US.
