However, one of the most intriguing aspects of the women's match has been who exactly will appear in the bout.

Last night's WWE Raw saw several important storyline-based developments that will undoubtedly affect the red brand moving forward.

In case you didn't know...

McCool has not yet agreed to compete in the Royal Rumble Match as it was only noted that she spoke to WWE officials about it.

Molly was never a woman who enjoyed the fact that the division was sexualised at that time which made her stand out in her own way.

McCool, per Johnson's report, is not "100 percent locked in" to appear just yet, but she has spoken with WWE about turning up. So it seems that she has experience when it comes to these kinds of matches.

The event is receiving considerable coverage not only in the sports media but also in mainstream news outlets, owing to its historical significance, as the first-ever All-Women's Royal Rumble match will take place on the show.

Another name contacted, but not confirmed, is Michelle McCool.

Powell's POV: Becky Lynch is the latest entrant in the women's Royal Rumble match, and Rusev and Aiden Englsh are the latest to enter the men's Royal Rumble match.

WWE sources tell PWInsider that Holly has agreed to compete in the Royal Rumble Match on Sunday, Jan. 28.

Furthermore, the WWE Championship match that has AJ Styles set to defend the title in a Handicap match against both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, features only Styles and Owens, with fellow SmackDown Live Superstar Zayn absent from the poster.
