With the January transfer window open, speculation has been rife over a possible exit for Ronaldo from the Spanish capital, with former club Manchester United a rumoured eventual destination.

Following a summer that saw their star player strongly linked with the Bernabeu exit, Madrid officials were said to be keen to offer Ronaldo a new-and-improved contract, despite his existing terms running until 2021.

Depor, meanwhile, have slipped into the relegation zone after a run of just one win in their last ten games and their recent record against Real Madrid does not indicate that things will get any better for the Galicians this weekend. I only talk to him about what goes on on the pitch. He will be 33 in February.

"His transfer will be around €100m".

The 27-year-old's current contract is set to expire in June 2019, with United possessing the option to extend by a further year beyond 2019 should they choose activate the clause.

David De Gea has pledged his future at Manchester United, claiming that being with the Red Devils is "special". "Only PSG could be interested".

He's certainly heads and shoulders above the rest of the Premier League, and is showing why he's the number one keeper in England - and how much he saves Jose Mourinho's men game after game. They have a Spanish Cup clash against Leganes on Thursday and having finished second in their Champions League group to Tottenham and with a last 16 clash against Paris Saint-Germain to come, the domestic cup looks their likeliest route to silverware this season.
