The ancient Egypt of Assassin's Creed Origins will scoot a little closer to modernity when The Hidden Ones arrives on January 23. Like with the first DLC, purchasing this DLC will increase your level cap by 10, bring along new outfits, and introduce new legendary weapons. Players will also have access to four new Legendary weapons, a new outfit, two new mounts, and multiple new weapons to play with. The Curse of the Pharaohs will be available as part of the season pass or available to purchase separately for $19.99.

The release dates for Assassin's Creed Origins' next two story DLCs have been revealed alongside the launch date for the Discovery Tour mode. This DLC will pit players against famous pharaohs and Egyptian beasts, and tasks you with investigating the cause of a curse that has brought the dead back to life. Similarly to the first DLC, this next one will up the level cap again to 55 and will have even more gear and outfits to hunt for.

What do you think about the two new expansion passes and the "Discovery Tour" mode coming to Assassin's Creed Origins over the next few months? The coolest part is that the Discovery Tour will be available as a free update to all Origins players, and sold standalone via Steam and Uplay, starting on February 20. The story revolves around the fact that the Brotherhood is growing in numbers. A reinvented combat system allows players to experience a completely new way to battle as they master a variety of weapons with different characteristics and rarities to defeat challenging enemies and unique bosses. With an entire country to explore, from deserts to lush oases, from the Mediterranean Sea to the tombs of Giza, players will fight against risky factions and wild beasts as they explore this big and unpredictable land.

In the Deluxe Edition ($69.99), gamers will receive the base game, a printed version of the hand-drawn world map, the game's official soundtrack and the Digital Deluxe Pack, including the Ambush at Sea naval mission, the Desert Cobra Pack and three bonus Ability points.

You didn't think you'd get all the way through a western-developed game about ancient Egypt without fighting some mummies, did you?
