Expect Antonio Conte to keep raising the need for reinforcements during this transfer window.

Took greater responsibility for monitoring Vardy and Shinji Okazaki when Gary Cahill left the pitch injured, and assuming the captain's role came easily to the Spain worldwide. Unfortunately for them, the sending off of Ben Chilwell changed the course and this is when they chose to alter their approach.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, could barely contain his fury at the final whistle after a controversial penalty decision saw Eden Hazard draw level for Chelsea. Chilwell's red card caused the Foxes no real issues as Marcos Alonso's late free-kick was the only real effort of note in the second-half, his curling shot palmed away confidently by Schmeichel.

Conte has reportedly frustrated some of his players with his intense personality and demanding training sessions and their inconsistent performances this season have added fuel to that fire.

One man who would have been rubbing his hands following the game is Norwich City boss Daniel Farke.

But Conte is adamant Morata isn't the only one to blame for Chelsea's profligacy. But when they struggle, Antonio Conte does not have a Plan B or C to rescue them.

With the man advantage, Chelsea began to dominate for the first time in the match, but they lacked the inspiration and creativity to break down a packed defence without Hazard and Fabregas.

"I think in our games against the great teams, we have always had good situations and good possibilities - like against Manchester United and Tottenham".

Chelsea were still in disarray after the interval and Riyad Mahrez's deflected effort nearly crept in, prompting Conte to send on Willian and Pedro for Hazard and Fabregas.

April 2017: As Chelsea closed in on the title, Conte offered Mourinho, who spent over £150 million (S$272.3 million) on new signings, a reminder: "This season it's very important to understand that it's not always who spends more money who wins".

Leicester continued to overrun the hosts, who were forced to replace the injured Cahill with Andreas Christensen just after the half-hour mark.

Gary Cahill came off in the 33rd minute for Chelsea with an apparent hamstring injury.
