Chelsea speculated to replace Conte with former La Liga club manager

Conte won the Premier League title in his first season in England, but bemoaned the club's spending in the summer after missing out on Romelu Lukaku, Alex Sandro, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Virgil van Dijk. He has only one season he played regularly for Marseille. Speaking about the same, the Portuguese has added that for him, this is the 'end of the story'. I think in other clubs this does not happen. "We know the difficulty and for sure we want to avoid the Mourinho season with Chelsea".

Everything is possible. I have another year of contract with this club but, as you know very well in football, everything is possible. Conte responded firmly has branded Mourinho as "a little man".

However, former Chelsea star Nevin has admitted his concern about the deal because he claims that the move was not pushed through by manager Antonio Conte.

Mourinho, former manager of Inter Milan and Chelsea, had struck a nerve. "It means I lost my passion?" said the 54-year-old as per BBC. He's thought to be interested in working in the Premier League.

Chelsea are making plans for the departure of Antonio Conte this summer, according to reports.

A comfortable victory against Leicester with Morata among the goals would get Chelsea nicely back on track ahead of the midweek FA Cup replay with Norwich and trips to Brighton in the league, then Arsenal for the decisive second leg of that Carabao Cup semifinal.

He said: "I think this season it's very important to understand that it's not always who spends more money who wins".

Asked if the League Managers' Association (LMA) should now step in to try to fix the damage between the pair, Conte said: "This is not a problem from the club, it is a problem between me and him".

Apart from Allegri, the London side is also believed to be interested in Carlo Ancelotti who was sacked by Bayern Munich earlier this season.

"He is learning to deal with these type of situations, and if we speak about Batshuayi we are at the same level".

"I'm happy. I'm enjoying my period here".

With Manchester City completely running away with the Premier League title it seems that the two coaches have created some drama to deflect from their side's underperformance compared to Pep Guardiola's men, but it seems that the feud has gone way beyond anyone could imagine.
