It appears to be the season of Chrome OS laptops, as even Lenovo launched a few education-focused Chromebook laptops on Tuesday.

Pricing starts at $299 for touch models and $279 for non-touch with North American availability this March.

Acer did show off a Chromebook 11 with a 10-hour battery at the CES 2018 a couple of weeks ago. In addition, the Chromebook 11 C732 is compliant with the stringent U.S. MIL-STD 810G military standard, which validates the ruggedness to ensure the durability, reliability and quality of this new device. While Google is asking a minimum of $1,000 for its flagship, pricing for Acer's new convertible starts from just $349. Interestingly, Acer says that some regions will also offer models with integrated 4G LTE.

Finally, Acer is launching a Chromebox as well, called the CX13.

Acer's other new Chrome OS laptop is also an exciting affair.

Hot on the heels of announcing its all-new Chromebook 11, the company today unveiled three new Chrome OS computers - Chromebook 11 C732, Chromebook Spin 11, and Chromebox CXI3. It's available with Intel Pentium and Celeron quad-core processors, with either 4GB or 6GB RAM, and either 32GB or 64GB eMMC storage. Spin 11 sports an 11.6-inch touchscreen IPS display at a resolution of only 1366 x 768.

Acer Chromebook Spin 11 is positioned as the follow-up to the R11 laptop.

"The new Acer Chromebook 11 C732 delivers durability features typically found in much more expensive and specialized products". It sports two USB-C 3.1 ports alongside two USB-A 3.0 ports and a microSD slot.

It features one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 port, five USB Type-A ports, one HDMI port, one Gigabit Ethernet port, and a MicroSD card reader.

The Chromebox CXI3 is powered by an Apollo Lake 8th generation Intel processor.

In terms of connectivity, the laptop comes with Bluetooth 4.2 and 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

The display is only 1366x768, so a lot of processing power isn't required, but Acer is offering a wide array of display choices, with both IPS and TN panels available in non-touch, and IPS with touch as well.
