Missler, grinning widely and clutching a yellow envelope, turned it in Friday shortly after noon at the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. "I look forward to the future".

On his Facebook page on January 5, the evening of the drawing, Missler had also shared a brief post, "Oh. My".

The announcement comes on the 30th anniversary of the Florida Lottery.

Missler was the single victor of the jackpot from a January 5th drawing.

Missler declined to pose for photos or conduct an interview, but he hinted at his plans for the money in a statement provided by the Florida lottery. It is called "Secret 007, LLC".

The 7-Eleven that sold Missler the winning ticket will also receive a $100,000 bonus for selling the ticket. That store, Reeds Ferry Market, will get a $75,000 commission. "I mean to deal with my family have some good times en route, and concrete a way for monetary achievement so I can leave an inheritance far into the future", Missler said in an announcement.

The victor of the $560 million Powerball ticket in New Hampshire has not yet come forward.

"Sure, it was a 12-year-old vehicle, but Missler - who just retired from his job as a background screener - stressed that "#HardWorkPaysOff". And the person holding the ticket is a 20-year-old kid from Florida. "I have always been one to encourage the idea of chasing dreams and I believe life is about the pursuit of passion".

Late Friday afternoon, Missler tweeted once again: "Thank you everyone for the positive thoughts".

His family is originally from Maine. He said he had a "feeling" he might.
