"Life is f--ing insane i've mever been to Florida yall (sic)", Spencer said in another tweet, while his photos were busy going viral.

The pair played Words With Friends and Spencer clocked up 210 wins to Roz's 114.

Even Words With Friends responded.

After connecting through the online game, Spencer said he and Roz had played more than 300 matches together.

Twenty-two-year-old rapper Spencer (who goes by the name of High Class Filth) flew to West Palm Beach, Florida, on 1 December to meet up with his Friends with Words rival Roz. They eventually played more than 300 games against each other.

Soon, the 22-year-old from Harlem, New York and the 86-year-old, who lives in a retirement community in Florida, were firm friends.

Thanks to the help of a New York City pastor, they recently met in real life and, thanks to the power of Twitter, everyone knows about it and can't stop crying tears of joy.

An online game brought together two people that might not have met otherwise, and the internet can't handle it. Sleyon also commented on why he thinks the story went so viral: "Besides the obvious-the fact that I'm a young black male and this is an old white woman-a lot of people enjoyed the fact that we were able to get so close, especially given the tension in the country". And last week that got to meet for the very first time.

Pastor Amy Butler of The Riverside Church, who accompanied Spencer on his first ever trip to Florida, reacted on Twitter as well.
