In the latest WhatsApp Android Beta version, as per WABetaInfo, "when you want to select a contact from the Contact List, you can easily chat to blocked contacts simply unblocking them using the new action: tap and hold the cell to unblock and send a message". The PiP feature is aimed to allow users to multifunction when taking a video call.

WhatsApp is getting ready to add some new features, including the option for private replies in groups, tap to unblock and a picture-in-picture (PIP) mode as well. The new version is widely available in the App Store for iOS users with the information on the features in the "What's New Section".

So, the "Private Replies" feature is a feature which allows a user to reply to a particular person privately within a group. Users will now get an option called Reply Privately in a group chat. The feature works similar to the Picture-in-Picture mode available on the mobile version of the app.

The next feature has been named Shake To Report.

Currently, both the features aren't available on WhatsApp Web, but will reportedly go live on the interface soon. For this, you will just need to shake your device.

We found today other new hidden Android references that confirms that also group video calls will be supported, and it will be possible to make a group video calls with other 2 participants (so in the group video call there will be 3 participants, including who started it).

According to WABetaInfo, a popular source which tests beta versions on WhatsApp, it will be bringing the Picture-in-Picture mode to WhatsApp web through a new update.

Tap to unblock: As the name suggests, this new feature will let the user unblock a contact by just long pressing on the contact and sending a message to the contact.

Now you can watch a YouTube video shared by a contact, within the WhatsApp itself. The feature will make multitasking easy for users as they can watch videos and continue with their chat simultaneously.

But what features WhatsApp added in these new updates? But, with the latest beta, group members can also send invite links to a person so that he/she can join the group. With this method the new participant can be added directly to the group.
