The Division's 1.8 Update Drops Tomorrow, Patch Notes Released

In the PvE Resistance mode, different AI factions team up to battle the division agents. Patch 1.8 will add two new game modes bug fixes, new guns, and much more to the game and the update is free.

Which expands the game map with a new location West Side Pier, and two new modes - the horde-like Resistance and a new PvP death-match "Skirmish" thing.

Today, Ubisoft announced that Update 1.8, called Resistance, is coming to The Division tomorrow, December 5, 2017.

As detailed on the official comprises whole new gameplay areas, new modes of play and significant changes for the game's Underground sections. On December 7, a free weekend will begin that runs through December 10, and the game will be 70% off for the duration of the event. The former is essentially a team deathmatch mode with two teams of four pitted against each other. The season pass content includes the released expansions Underground, Survival and Last Stand. Using cooperative tactics is strongly encouraged, as is using the resources dropped by enemies to set up defenses or extend the battlefield. Tom Clancy's The Division is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and Update 1.8 will be available in all versions tomorrow. During it, players will be able to try out the full game and all of its DLC for free. Players need to cooperate and find the best strategy to complete as many waves as possible and get greater rewards. And it's not enough to just "down" an enemy player - you have to eliminate them to make it count.

They'll also be a new social hub, an upgrade to the rogue mechanics and gear optimization. All progress from the free weekend will carry over to the full game if players purchase it.
