Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar's 2.0 release postponed to April 2018

Seems like Lyca Productions, the makers of upcoming Shankar film 2.0 are leaving no stone unturned to release their film as the most awaited Indian film of the decade. The makers of the sci-fi film have postponed the release date once again to April 2018. 27 April 2018 looks a final release date now and the movie has been postponed thrice before.

All the Rajinikanth fans have to wait a bit longer to see their star on-screen as the makers have made a decision to postpone the release of the film once again.

Reportedly, 11 top visual effects studios have been working on the Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar film. "The high tech post production works are fully geared and the team is all set for the release schedule".

Earlier taking about the 2018 Republic Day war at box office, Akshay told Mumbai Mirror, "While PadMan is a film that I have produced, 2.0 belongs to Shankar, Rajinikanth and Lyca Productions".

Renowned critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took the new release date to Twitter and announced the breaking news.

The film starring Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson is creating buzz among the masses due to its unique concept. Two highly anticipated films - 2.0 (Robot 2) and Kaala is expected to hit the screens next year.
