Portal Meets Bridge Constructor in Bridge Constructor Portal

It will follow up on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch in early 2018. The game is a mashup between Bridge Constructor and Portal, putting together the two physics based titles in some interesting looking ways. Rather than a Valve-made sequel to Portal 1 and 2, today "Headup Games" announced that they would be releasing "Bridge Constructor Portal", a spin-off of the Bridge Constructor series.

How Portal came to be involved is now a mystery, and it seems as if news of the game was leaked early and this was actually meant to be an announcement at The Game Awards tomorrow.

Portal has gone all over the place, from the darkest depths of Aperture Science to outer space, briefly.

Attach the name Portal to anything and gamers sit up and a pay attention.

Portal and Portal 2 are celebrated classics, but after the release of the latter developer Valve steered away from game development, instead focusing on hardware like the HTC Vive virtual reality headset and its digital platform Steam. Luckily, Portal is making a return, but by means of Bridge Constructor. It's likely that she will tell you there's a cake somewhere on your bridge building journey, but it's nearly certainly a lie. I'm still crossing my fingers for an eventual Portal 3, but for now we have Bridge Constructor Portal to keep us engaged with puzzles and power hungry robots.
