Another shocking incident was reported in September where an Ola cab driver allegedly assaulted a businessman with iron rod near CV Raman Road. I warned him and tried to damage the vehicle. While on the way, the driver allegedly stopped the vehicle on the Intermediate Ring Road and started groping her.

During the trip, the driver, identified as Rajashekar Reddy, stopped the cab at the Intermediate Ring Road, locked the doors and started touching her inappropriately, the victim's complaint stated.

An Ola cab driver allegedly molested a woman in Bengaluru while she was going home, according to PTI.

It was then she started banging the window following which the driver let her go. He called her to warn her that he would cause her harm if approached the police.

She said she complained only to the Ola Cabs safety team and did not lodge any complaint with the police.

Ola said in a statement today that it had zero tolerance to such incidents and the driver had been suspended on receiving the complaint.

She then ran few hundred meters until she could find an auto-rickshaw. Even for the police to take up a suomotto case against the accused, it is important for the police to know the area where the incident took place. "But as am soon leaving the city, I did not want an FIR registered", she said.

The taxi aggregator has also urged the woman to lodge a formal complaint with the authorities and they would extend their full support to the investigation against the said driver.

The woman also alleged that the company did not inform her of taking any action against the driver.

An Ola spokesperson said, "We regret the unfortunate experience the customer had during their ride". A similar disgusting shameful incident was reported from Hyderabad where the 26-year-old Uber driver was arrested after the woman passenger on board filed a complaint against the driver.
