Earlier this morning, Ryan Reynolds tweeted out a new picture based upon the sequel that features Deadpool and Josh Brolin's Cable in a pose that should be very familiar to anyone with an appreciation for classical artwork. "Apparently you can't actually blow the Matterhorn", he wrote.

Cinderella's castle, which appears behind Deadpool, is in Disney World in Florida while the Matterhorn is a bobsled ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Deadpool, released in 2016, became the top-grossing X-Men movie ever with $783 million worldwide, while this year's Logan took $616 million worldwide.

As Ryan Reynolds is often known to do, he shared two unique Deadpool 2 images on social media today.

He captioned it: 'I cooked this turkey using only a Zippo lighter'.

But on Thursday, Disney CEO Bob Iger indicated on a call with investors that an R-rated Deadpool could co-exist at Disney.

Deadpool 'clearly has been and will be Marvel branded.

It's still unclear what Disney would do with the R-rated superhero film franchises 20th Century Fox was developing but if they tone down Deadpool to PG-13 for the sake of the company's family-friendly focus, a lot of hardcore fans would probably be pissed.

'As long as we let the audiences know what's coming, we think we can manage that fine'.

Deadpool 2 opens in theaters June 1, so get ready for more Deadpool/Cable action in your feeds in the meantime - Reynolds will surely be sharing more snippets of these characters he's so excited about in the months to come.
