Netflix Announces 'Black Mirror' Season 4 Release Date

With a new trailer for the entire season released this morning, we now know we'll be ringing in the New Year with these tales of technology. "People email me and tweet me about it, saying 'This is very Black Mirror!' Oh, thank you so much!"

Season four will have six episodes, each telling a standalone story, and trailers have been released for each.

Popular actress Jodie Foster goes behind the camera for the second episode of Black Mirror season 4, "Arkangel".

In just two days, it is two new trailers that have just been unveiled. The next round consists of six stand-alone episodes, including the 76-minute Star Trek-ian entry, "U.S.S. Callister", and the show's first-ever black-and-white episode, "Metalhead". The series is created and written by Charlie Brooker, and executive produced by Brooker and Annabel Jones.

"U.S.S. Callister" is the fourth episode of the fourth season of "Black Mirror", and will be seen sometime in 2018. "Arkangel" stars Rosemarie Dewitt (La La Land, Mad Men), Brenna Harding (A Place to Call Home), and Owen Teague (Bloodline). The episode, directed by Colm McCarthy, stars Douglas Hodge, Letitia Wright, and Babs Olusanmokun. The episode also features Jesse Plemons (Fargo, Breaking Bad), Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum), and Jimmi Simpson (Westworld). John Hillcoat is director in front of this chapter starring Andrea Riseborough, Andrew Gower and Kiran Sonia Sawar filmed in Iceland.
