The U.S. marines and 22News need your help and generosity to meet that need and support our Toys for Tots toy drive.

The Foundation Church is Everett now serves as a permanent warehouse for toys collected throughout Snohomish County.

She said the organization a year ago helped approximately 3,000 children across the county, with each child receiving four gifts. Now we make gift baskets for the elderly, we started a homeless campaign as well. "We are seeing a lot more working class families who can't afford Christmas", said Mary Butler, community officer for the Snohomish County's Toys for Tots.

"I think previous year was when we really noticed that there was a need for toys for kids", said Crissy Davies. This year, the goal is to help more than 50,000 children.

"We are still in need of donations as this is our busy time, with requests that we need to get filled and distributed by December 21", Ms. Reynolds said.

"Toys are not cheap. I have three children of my own and it's just awesome to be able to give to those that are less fortunate that don't have parents at home, or anybody that can buy for them around Christmas time", Little said.

The HomeSlice MediaGroup is hosting its second annual Toys for Tots drive for Pennington County.

Like every year, the toys most needed this holiday season are those for older kids. The children also receive stocking stuffers that consist of children's books.
