So you've already binged the entirety of Marvel and Netflix's The Punisher, right? The character was first introduced to Netflix viewers via the company's original Daredevil series, helping kick off what has become a solid genre for the streaming platform. However given the amount of TV shows that Netflix has yet to release, chances are you might be looking at a release in 2019 and not anytime earlier.

"The Punisher" received mixed reviews for its first season from critics, which premiered in November, aggregating 60 per cent critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the 94 per cent audience score painting a different picture among the show's diehard fanboy target audience. The long-awaited second season of "Jessica Jones" was just announced for March 8, 2018. Go behind the scenes with the cast and crew of Marvel's The Punisher as they explain the setting and motivations of each main character.

Marvel's The Punisher is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television from executive producers Jim Chory and Jeph Loeb with Steve Lightfoot serving as showrunner. The announcement of the second season came today via the show's official Twitter account. Keeping in mind that the second season arrived back in October, that could mean waiting around a year and a half to get the next round of episodes - a reality that may be necessary due to the amount of work involved. It followed the vigilante Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) as he dug deeper into his family's senseless murder, uncovered a government conspiracy and allied himself with Micro (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), a former NSA agent.
