CBS has announced that it will soon be the destination to watch a "The Twilight Zone" reboot with Jordan Peele among the executive producers on the series.

CBS All Access has ordered a full series.

CBS All Access subscribers can watch anything that CBS has to offer, like local market National Football League games, and exclusive All Access shows like "Star Trek: Discovery" and the newest addition to the lineup: A reboot of "The Twilight Zone: with "Get Out" director Jordan Peele as an executive producer". It originally ran in from 1959-1964 and remains a staple for many families during holiday seasons due to continued play on the SyFy channel and its timeless appeal. The series, which used fantasy, science fiction, suspense and psychological thriller genre elements in each episode, was notable for its use of a macabre twist toward the end and its the moral message the episode was trying to get across. The series was previously revived for three seasons in the '80s and briefly in 2002; Steven Spielberg also produced "Twilight Zone: The Movie", starring John Lithgow, in 1983. CBS Television Network has announced that a reboot of The Twilight Zone will be joining Star Trek: Discovery in the streaming service's original programming slate.

Are you ready to re-enter "The Twilight Zone?". The franchise has also been licensed to a new stage play set to premiere in December at the Almeida Theatre in London and run through January. The godfather of sci-fi series, the show explored humanity's hopes, despairs, prides and prejudices in metaphoric ways conventional drama could not.

It served as inspiration for several other shows, including Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror, itself a hit offering unsettling, satirical explorations of the modern world. Ramirez is repped by UTA.
