The other looming ten year anniversary is the release of the original Assassin's Creed.

The Gladiator Items Pack is coming on December 12 with some gladiator gear for Bayer, while the Wacky Items Pack is a flawless fit for the game's bath towel costume.

In a blog post detailing the update, Ubisoft have announced a new Nightmare difficulty and enemy scaling to drag low-level enemies up to the power of the player. Expect foes to take a longer time to fall, so better prepare the strongest weapons to survive. "Here Comes a New Challenger" introduces the Horde mode, set in an arena where the player must fend off an endless swarm of enemies.

Two new quests await. We recommend Level 32 or higher. The Ubisoft post then shows a GIF of what looks like a chocobo from the Final Fantasy series.

But it's the new "surprise quest" that Ubisoft teased that seems most interesting. On August 30, 2017, the Assassin's Festival event was added to Final Fantasy XV. Additionally, the update expands the Heka Chest offerings by adding new Nightmare and First Civ items.

There are still no specific dates as to when the huge update will roll out, so no choice but to wait.

In Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, you are Edward Kenway, a pirate out to make a name for himself on the tumultuous Caribbean seas by sailing your ship among the isles in search of plunder, attacking enemy vessels, and diving below the waves for lost treasures.
