Apple pushed iOS 11.2 ahead of schedule on December 2 to fix a bug that caused iPhones to crash and reboot after the clock struck 12:15am. The update brings several new features, bug fixes and improvements to compatible devices.

You can download the iOS 11.2 update on iPhone 5s and above models, iPad Air and above models, iPad mini 2 and above models, or the sixth-generation iPod touch. Some of them are, an issue that caused cleared Mail notifications from Exchange accounts to reappear, an issue where Settings could open a blank screen.

Apple addresses an issue that could prevent Music controls from displaying on the Lock Screen, fixes an issue that could cause app icons to be arranged incorrectly on the Home Screen and also addresses an issue that could prevent users from deleting recent photos when iCloud storage is exceeded.

The latest iOS 11.2 update is about 430MB and it varies depending on the device.

Over the long weekend, Apple finally released its iOS 11.2 update to the public.
