In terms of features, Huawei Nova 2s features a 6-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels that translates to 18:9 aspect ratio. Along with these two variants, the company has also announced special Yixing Zhang customized variant with 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage which is priced at 3399 Yuan (approximately Rs 33,178). There is a shiny glass back panel on board the Nova 2s. The dual front cameras are 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel, and the Nova 2S has two more rear cameras that are 20-megapixel and 16-megapixel with a dual LED flash, according to a spec leak reported by Android Headlinestoday.

With the Huawei Nova 2S expected to compete in a mid-to-upper range segment of the handset market, it seems as if the manufacturer is playing it safe.

Huawei has unveiled yet another mid-range smartphone under the Nova series with the launch of the Nova 2s in China. This smartphone is fueled by the Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core SoC, which is Huawei's flagship processor for a year ago, and it's still more than powerful enough. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The home button is also said to be a fingerprint reader. The dual rear camera setup gets f/1.8 aperture, an LED flash, phase detection autofocus and 4K video recording support. Now, as far as the phone's front side is concerned, you'll find 20 and 2-megapixel cameras there (f/2.0 aperture).

The Huawei Nova 2s has grabbed quite a few headlines and been the subject of lots of rumours lately. The power button comes with a textured finish to distinguish itself from the volume rocker. The smartphone is backed up by a 3,340mAh battery and it will run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with EMUI 8.0 on top. Additionally, the Nova 2s features a USB Type-C port, NFC, and a standard headphone jack as well. The phone is carved out of glass and metal, and weighs in at 169 grams.
