Opening with Norman Reedus explaining that the world was created by an explosion, there's apparently another one coming that will end all life this time.

As a part of the 2017 Game Awards Show, a number of new games were announced or showcased; though one of the show stealers appears to be another cinematic trailer for Hideo Kojima's upcoming game Death Stranding.

It's impossible to get a sense of what kind of game Death Stranding is from this latest video, which is a cut scene in classic Kojima style, but there's a definite horror vibe.

While no one really knows what's going on here, and it's assumed we're still at least a year or two away from getting this game, believe it or not you can actually pre-order it now.

While Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro did not make an appearance in the trailer, Norman Reedus is, once again, the focus. While we were hoping for some answers, audiences were only left with more questions. While the trailer goes on to get more freakish from there, one of the most notable moments is our first look at the enemies of the game. I love Kojima's previous works, and I'm eager to see what he'll do unfettered by the trappings of the Metal Gear universe.
