First look at Hawk and Dove in DC's live-action Titans series

Two weeks after revealing our first look at Brenton Thwaites as Robin on Titans, Warner Bros. has unveiled another moody first look at the drama's heroes. The new series will follow the former Teen Titans adventures as adults. Now we're getting an early peak at a couple of his blue-chip recruits, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall, aka Hawk, and Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger, aka Dove.

The level of detail in the costumes - designed by Laura Jean Shannon - goes beyond simply recreating their comic book look. Warner Bros. previously released the first photo of Dick Grayson as played by the series leading man, Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales).

The series comes from Weed Road Pictures, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. And Kelly showed clear eyes and a full heart on Friday Night Lights, and genetically enhanced analysis skills on Almost Human, among many other credits. TV, is set to bow in 2018 as part of a new DC-centric direct-to-consumer digital service from the WB.

The series also stars Anna Diop (24) as Starfire, Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) as Beast Boy, Teagan Croft (Home and Away) as Raven and Lindsey Gort (The Carrie Diaries) as Amy Rohrbach. Hawk is temperamental and militant while Dove believes in non-violence and reason.

As indicated by the title of the series, it is set to be based on the popular Teen Titans comic, which features heroes like Robin taking front-and-center.
