Bungie Will Address Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris' Prometheus Lens Rifle Bug

Curse of Osiris released yesterday, a really nice trace rifle called Prometheus Lens was made available, and it's apparently overpowered.

After just one day of Curse of Osiris in the wild, videos popped up on YouTube and complaints filled the game's Subreddit as players in the Crucible quickly realized how strong the weapon was. But the Prestige variants of both activities require players to be at the power cap, and it's now impossible to reach that cap unless you buy Curse of Osiris. Prestige versions of these playlists were created to be an end-game difficulty to test a player's absolute limits in exchange for rare and legendary quality loot.

The new DLC Curse of Osiris for Destiny 2 is now available and it introduces new Character Levels and Power Levels for players to achieve. Now, the Leviathan raid and the Nightfall and Trials of the Nine firestrikes require the player to have a power level of 330 before they can attempt these events.

In addition, you'll also need the DLC to access the heroic strike playlist, which returns to Destiny 2 as part of the DLC.

Two of Destiny 2's toughest activities are the Prestige Raid and Prestige Nightfall Strike. Although players without Curse of Osiris can play them, they are much more hard than they were before the launch of the new expansion.

Bungie has yet to make an official statement on the matter.
