In October, Feldman, who became a household name by starring in such blockbuster hits as Stand By Me and The Goonies, revealed the identities of two alleged child molesters he claims took advantage of him and other adolescent screen stars years ago.

A 1993 audio recording of Corey Feldman naming alleged child abusers in Hollywood has been found.

Fox News reports that after denying that the tapes existed, the Santa Barbara Sheriff's department has recently located the audio files, which were recorded during the trial of Michael Jackson on charges of child molestation.

At the time, officials with the Sheriff's Office told Fox News that Feldman had not revealed any names.

It's not clear whether Santa Barbara's belated discovery of a 24-year-old audio recording of detectives' interview of Feldman will change anything.

The sheriff's office now says they did find audio recordings of Feldman's interview, though they did not reveal further details, adding that they are unable to comment further because the case involves the alleged sexual abuse of a child. The spokeswoman for the Santa Barbara Sherriff's Office, Kelly Hoover, said in a statement to USA TODAY that the office found Feldman's recording and they have turned it over to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

She said: "Following the recent inquiries into the Sheriff's Office interview of Mr. Feldman in 1993, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office conducted an additional review for any stored items remaining from the Michael Jackson investigation". At the time the show aired, the office said they had no record of Feldman's accusations. The recording is being turned over to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police in California say they have uncovered a tape upon which Corey Feldman lists the names of men who abused him in the past.

Corey Feldman has previously claimed former actor Jon Grissom sexually molested him as a child.

He also took his story to the LAPD, which confirmed it was investigating Feldman's claims and then nearly immediately closed down its investigation. "Everybody that affected my life, I'm going to give the perspective that I can give, what I viewed, what I experienced from a first-hand account", he told "Today".

Feldman denies he was ever abused by Jackson.
