Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 India Price Cut

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced that it is reducing the price of its Redmi Note 4 smartphone in the Indian market.

The Redmi Note 4 (2GB) model price remains the same as earlier while the REdmi Note 4 (3GB) now costs Rs 9,999 (Earlier Rs 10,999) and the Redmi Note 4 (4GB) now costs Rs 11,999. Xiaomi has mentioned that it is a permanent price cut, making the device that much more alluring to buyers. The handset launched 10 months earlier is the sequel to the Redmi Note 3, which was also a best seller past year. With the Redmi Note 4, however, Xiaomi has turned its focus on improving battery life by at least 20%. The retailer is offering an exchange price of up to Rs 11,000 to customers.

The Redmi Note 4 is easily among the best-selling phones that Xiaomi has ever come out with, and the phone still manages to hold its ground in the Rs 10,000 and around price segment even though it was launched in January.

The Redmi Note 4 comes in four colour options - Grey, Gold, Silver and a new matte Black version. Redmi Note 4 has also started getting the MIUI 9 Global build from Xiaomi in India, though this is still on Android Nougat. If returning after 9 to 12 months the user will get up to Rs 4,700 discounted on the next device. The e-commerce portal is offering the best exchange value of Rs 6,500 when you upgrade to a new phone in 2018, provided it is in a working condition and not damaged.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display, with a pixel density of ~401 PPI and a screen-to-body ratio of 72.7%. The Redmi Note 4 is further backed by a 4,100mAh battery.
