West Brom, meanwhile, remain without James Morrison (Achilles) and Craig Dawson (knee), but Pulis otherwise has a fully fit squad of players to choose from as he seeks to halt the Baggies' decline in form.

Pulis has been in charge since January 2015 but conceded if the axe came it would not be unfair.

The Baggies entertain champions Chelsea on Saturday before facing Tottenham at Wembley on 25 November. "I understand that the more you give, the more people want, but we've been unfortunate with injuries and things going against us".

They are winless in their last 10 outings, having claimed victories in their first three matches of the campaign, and sit a point above the relegation zone with Chinese owner Guochuan Lai flying over to watch this weekend.

"It's the way it is, if you don't get results you're under pressure".

"We stayed eighth more than any other position previous year and ended up finishing 10th".

"It's only the second time since 1967 this club has finished as the top Midlands club".

In fact, they have not won a game in any competition since beating Accrington Stanley in the League Cup back in August. His team's goals per game ratio is also down from 1.0 to 0.8.

The title holders have won four of their five Premier League games this season with a 2-1 loss to strugglers Crystal Palace the only blemish on their record.

"That's disappointing more defensively than attacking".

"People say the football's been boring but the last two games at The Hawthorns have seen nine goals scored".

"All I would ask of the fans is to get behind the team".

"I spent all yesterday afternoon with him". That little boy was fantastic. People tell me we're this, that and the other. We about what he is going through?

"All the pressure we are supposed to be under. Or his parents? What is pressure?"
