Trump Supporters Are Coming For LeVar Burton Thinking He's LaVar Ball

In actuality, it is LaVar Ball who Trump has been tweeting about this week.

The president included: "Wash, you might have spent Thanksgiving for the next 5-10 years with your son inside China, with no National Basketball Association contract to back you up".

Trump and Ball have been in the news since the Big Baller Brand owner seemingly downplayed Trump's role in the release of his son LiAngelo Ball and two UCLA Bruins players who had been arrested last week for shoplifting in China.

"What a shame! LaVar is simply Don King's version of a poor man, however without hair".

"Did (Trump) help the boys get out?"

We start off with the most ridiculous story of the week: LaVar Ball and Donald Trump.

LiAngelo Ball and two UCLA teammates were released after a brief detention in China while Trump was visiting the country.

President of the United States, Donald Trump, salutes when he leaves Air Force One at Palm Beach International Airport on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

"It's good because woman are finally starting to come out... but I have to tell you that I'm a little concerned where we have people coming out of the wood work just to destroy someone".

During Monday night's CNN appearance, the outspoken Ball doubled down about the president.

"As long as my boy's back here, I'm fine", LaVar Ball told ESPN.

As for who had helped free LiAngelo Ball from China, the president said: "IT WAS ME". "I don't know. If I was going to thank someone, I would probably thank President Xi (Jinping)". "There's regularly this issue like, 'grovel, ' like 'say thanks, Massah.' It's ridiculous". "I would be surprised if they were even prosecuted". "Now if you can go back and say when he was 12 years old he was shoplifting and stealing cars and going wild, then that's a different thing", he said. The three have already been suspended from UCLA Basketball.

UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero said last week that the players stole from three stores.
