While this will be Swift's third time appearing on SNL, this will be Haddish's first time hosting the show and she'll make history when she does it. Haddish's stint will mark the first time a black female comedian has ever hosted the show. "His lace fronts are off the chain", Haddish said in her monologue. "I googled myself - it said I'm worth $2 million!"

Haddish also took a slight shot at "SNL" and their lack of influence in the Black community by pointing out that "In Living Color" was embraced by minorities more than "SNL" "Trying to convince them that Dana Carvey was just as amusing as Damin Wayans was a problem. I got stabbed twice, in a bunk bud". "Wait 'til she takes her own clothes off, then pull your thing-thing out".

Haddish also took a shot at herself for being a comedian on the rise.

But Haddish got Cardi's enthusiasm, ceaseless smile, and her adoration for Offset down pat - and her aesthetic was flawless, too, as she rocked an outfit that we could totally picture Cardi wearing.

Haddish made it to the big time this summer with the hit comedy Girls Trip (which, truth be told, might be the funniest movie of 2017), and with her landmark moment on SNL, she definitely chose to make her mark.

After the monologue, the show pretty much went downhill as the "SNL" writers failed to utilize Haddish effectively.

As always, the rest of the show was hit and miss, including the host's sketches. In fact, there only four black women have served as guest host since 2005: Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Gabourey Sidibe.
