WWE announced Monday that Roman Reigns will return to the ring on Raw after a viral infection sidelined him for almost a month. Reigns will team with Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose against The Miz, Cesaro & Sheamus tonight.

It has been rumored for weeks that at some point before Survivor Series, Raw will invade SmackDown in order to get their own back, and with only one more SmackDown show before the pay-per-view, it means Raw's siege of SmackDown will have to happen this week. That'd hype up The Usos vs.

The New Day are the longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history as they held on to the belts for 483 days. The Bar and the expected Shield vs.

The Shield versus The New Day is expected to be announced for the Survivor Series pay-per-view at some point and could stem from a potential New Day run-in tonight.

The Shield debuted on November 18, 2012 at Survivor Series when they helped CM Punk retain the WWE title against John Cena and Ryback. It was speculated that she might take the lost spot in the Raw side of the women's elimination match, but that will most likely be Bayley.

So, that's Roman Reigns' in-ring return, teaming with his partners in The Shield to take on The Miz and The Bar, which is close to the TLC lineup - minus Braun Strowman & Kane - that Reigns had to pull out of due to illness.

- A number of Raw talents were told that they would be going to Smackdown tomorrow.
