However, Fury is likely to return to the sport he loves next year, with a video being released yesterday of him back in the ring sparring with his coach.

The 45-year-old American fighter, who was briefly the WBO heavyweight champion in 2006, is free to take to the ring again from today following a failed drugs test.

The WBA "super" and IBF title holder has set his sights on unifying the heavyweight division by defeating WBC champion Deontay Wilder and WBO champion Joseph Parker.

"Lots of different permutations right now, lots of different venue options as well - talks of one fight in the United Kingdom, one fight in America between the two - but also an understanding that this is a huge fight and one that we must get made in 2018".

'I wish Tyson Fury the best, ' Joshua said.

Speaking to Sport360° at the iconic Burj Al Arab ahead of his participation in the Dubai Fitness Challenge, Joshua said: "I feel like he says a lot of negative things about me, time and time again".

"Sometimes if a dog barks at you so many times, the other dog needs to bite back and make sure the other dog puts his tail between his legs", he continued.

"I hope people don't make this as awkward as they want it to be, if they're realistic about what they want we can definitely make this fight happen".

"In our fight you couldn't land any punches and I made you miss and really played games in there". It's a tough road back for him and I'm a fight that he doesn't want. I address the situation and I put it into the back of my mind.

The 29-year-old Mancunian will first have to shed much of the weight he's accrued during his hiatus, but when asked of his potential comeback bout, his trainer and uncle suggested it might come sooner than expected.

"As far as his depression, I've got love for him". It is nice to know that I can give a lot more.

Hearn revealed he has held talks with Wilder's team and that one aspect everyone agrees on is to schedule the fight for next year.

"Anthony Joshua has to face all of them but what's Wilder's plans after he fights Anthony Joshua?"
