"Rowan and Louise are over the moon and can't wait for their new arrival", a source said.

Miss Ford, 33, who is the daughter of a gas-fitter, grew up in south-east London where she attended a local grammar school. The actress, who played the Duchess of Cambridge in a Channel 4 show, The Windsors, looked casual in a polka dot jumpsuit with an oversized cardigan and a pair of white trainers.

Rowan is already dad to two children from his previous relationship - 23-year-old Bem and 21-year-old Lily. They met for the first time in late 1980s when Sunetra was working as a makeup artist with the BBC. She is expected to give birth next year. The news comes just a month after it was reported Atkinson's daughter Lily had chose to change her name.

"Sunetra was deeply upset to be replaced by such a younger woman", a source told The Sun at the time.

Atkinson has been Lily's name all her life, but she's now dropped it and is styling herself as Lily Sastry'. Another added: "Congratulations to Rowan Atkinson and his girlfriend #LouiseFord on their lovely baby news!"

The couple met in 2012 while they acted together in West End comedy Quatermaine's Terms.

Rowan and Louise moved into the Blackadder star's cottage just four weeks after his divorce.
