Rams heat up after slow start to scorch Texans

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff just had his best game of the season, against the New York Giants, and now he heads home to a terrific matchup with the Houston Texans.

Cooper Kupp hauled in 6-of-7 targets for 47 yards in the Rams' Week 10 win over the Texans. Jadeveon Clowney and his fellow defensive linemen did a good job of generating pressure up the middle, which prevented Goff from operating comfortably from the pocket.

But the sluggish play didn't follow the Rams back into the third quarter.

The Rams came out firing, scoring on a 94-yard touchdown pass to Robert Woods in the third quarter.

Woods, who is proving to be a huge acquisition this offseason, would catch 8 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns, including a 94 yarder, marking the longest TD reception of his college and National Football League career.

Fuller has appeared in six of Houston's nine games this season, catching 17 passes for 326 yards and seven touchdowns. Goff found Woods again for the former USC Trojans receiver's second touchdown of the game.

Goff is a player who is looking at some potential post season honors, and frankly should be.

Los Angeles' defense racked up three sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles on Savage.
