Nokia 2 Lands In India For Rs 7000

The parent company HMD Global has priced Nokia 2 at ₹6999 and the phone itself will be available in retail outlets on November 24 and onwards. "In addition, a great display and pure, secure Android means you don't have to do less with your Nokia 2 to preserve longevity, it has been built to give you the freedom to do more". Nokia 2 users will be eligible for unlimited photo and video uploads to Google Photos.

HMD -Global, the company who holds the license of manufacturing Nokia branded smartphones launched the Nokia 2 smartphone globally last month. The smartphone is priced at ₹6,999 in India and at Euro 99 globally. The Nokia 2 is available in three color options which are Copper Black, Pewter Black, and Pewter White.

Talking about the Nokia 2 specifications, the smartphone offers a 5-inch HD display with no mentioning of screen protection on top.

HMD Global has partnered with Reliance Jio to provide the Nokia 2 buyers with an additional free 5GB of data with every recharge of INR 309 or above for nine recharges until August 31, 2018.

Nokia 2 customers will also get complimentary 12-month accidental damage insurance plan by Servify on opening a Kotak 811 savings account and activating it with an initial deposit of Rs. 1,000.

Nokia 2 is powered by 1.3GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor with 1GB RAM.

Connectivity features on the device include Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS / GLONASS.

The phone also offers 8GB of onboard storage. This storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a micro SD card. The phone embodies a 5 inch display, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and expandable memory, Android Nougat and Oreo ready.

The highlight of the handset is its big 4100mAh battery, which is claimed to offer 2-day battery life. It packs a 4,100 mAh battery.
