Tonight, there is a chance of drizzle after midnight with the chance of patchy fog after 3 a.m.

Little or no accumulation is expected, the service said, and the chance of precipitation is only 30 percent.

We will see a break from the rain and snow Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon, then another round of winter weather moves in Wednesday night.

The NWS says the low will be south of Long Island and developing along the frontal system's associated warm front. Temperatures will cool down to the upper 50s tonight, so it will be slightly warmer from last night.

Today will be cloudy with a high near 51, according to the National Weather Service, and there is a chance of drizzle on Tuesday. Likely mid 40s along the coast and low 40s to upper 30 inland.

The overnight low is expected to be 38 degrees with a south southwest wind of about 10 miles per hour, shifting to a west wind after midnight. There could be a shower late Wednesday into Thursday morning, the weather service said.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 45.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 44.
