While talking to sports journalist ahead of England's clash at the monumental Wembley Stadium, Coutinho said he was disenchanted for not representing the past three games for the Reds because of his injury. "I had an injury and I missed three matches but now I'm coming back and I'm 100 percent ready for this match".

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has allayed any fears of him carrying an injury, declaring himself as "100% fit" for action, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The Brazil worldwide was the subject of a transfer battle between the Reds and the Catalan giants in August, putting in a transfer request to try to force a move to Camp Nou. "I am honored to wear this shirt whenever I can".

Brazil worldwide Rafinha, who is now injured, wants to leave the club in search of first-team action elsewhere ahead of next summer's World Cup.

"I'm always a happy person but right now, my focus is exclusively on the national team and once the match is over, then it will be Liverpool".

"Every day, I work harder than before to improve myself and become a better all-around footballer".

That is perhaps part of Liverpool's problem compared with Brazil's, as they lack the personnel to reliably find the net, although Mohamed Salah may soon put that to rest if he can continue his rich vein of form.

And he says playing with Philippe Coutinho and under Jurgen Klopp is paying dividends for Brazil too. "We are looking forward to competing against them", he said.

The Mirror claim that Liverpool were unhappy when the 25-year-old made a decision to join up with his national squad when he required treatment for a thigh injury.
