"I like to have the best and it's clear Neymar is one of them".

And the report continues by claiming that Neymar is understood to have not ruled out a future move but isn't in any hurry to leave the Ligue 1 outfit.

The 25-year-old twice asked reporters to "stop inventing" the stories about his clashes with the PSG coach and admitted they had been bothering him.

"We've been working together for a year and a half now and we've been very loyal to one another", he said.

"I'm here because I asked to be here".

He continued: 'I just want to be happy, I did not come here to make trouble with anybody. I already have the door open for him if he wants to come.

"I had a chat with (team coordinator) Edu and Tite because these things are hurting me, every day there are these stories". I'm not angry, I'm not p***** off. What is bothering me is the rumours, so I want to tell you my side and for you to hear the words from my mouth. The French club board must act quickly on the matter and bring the colliding parties at peace or the looming implosion can hamper their pursuit of the holy grail i.e Champions League.

With both Neymar and teammate Mbappe confirming the Brazilian is happy in France, PSG will be hopeful of big things this season.

'I'm a guy who likes to win, I like titles and I went to PSG for this.

It has also been said that several members of PSG's first-team squad have become frustrated with the special privileges afforded to him, with Neymar reported to have two dedicated physiotherapists and exempt from defensive duties.

'There are a number of circumstances to take into account and we must be careful not to generalise, ' Tite implored.

It is understood that the pair remain close, despite Neymar's controversial move to France, and that Messi contacted him via WhatsApp as he is anxious that Neymar could return to Spain to play for their arch-rivals.
