Kangana Ranaut injures her leg while shooting for Manikarnika

Kangana Ranaut injured her foot while shooting for her upcoming film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi in Jodhpur. The actress who is performing her own stunts in the film, was shooting for performing yet another stunt at Mehrangarh Fort.

Kangana Ranaut is known to give more than her best to every role she essays.

Kangana Ranaut and injuries are going hand in hand nowadays. While she injured herself in the initial days, this time again she has injured her leg while shooting for a scene. After the treatment, she left for Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon.Dr Pulikit Goyal from Goyal Hospital said Kangana was brought to the hospital at 4am with sprain in her right ankle.

The shooting of the movie is on hold now and it will resume as soon as Kangana is ready to come back for her part, the sources say that she will be alright and will be back for the shoot by two weeks. She has already finished shooting for major action sequences for the film and this was the last risky one that was to be performed by her. We applied a plaster cast and she was advised a week's rest. Talking about it, she had told mid-day, "I am a bit embarrassed to be thrilled to have a battle scar on my face". In fact, it is learnt that this particular accident happened when the actress attempted to jump from the top of a wall on to a horse.

"Manikarnika..." is scheduled to be released in April.
