Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Nabil Fekir, Julian Brandt and Max Meyer are just a selection of the midfielders that have been suggested as possible substitutes, while Mundo Deportivo claim that former Real Madrid man Ozil is once again on Barcelona's radar.

Excluding the Supercopa de España, Barca have scored a massive 40 goals in 16 games, conceding just five in that time, as they've made the flawless start to life under Ernesto Valverde.

Barcelona's next bid could be €80,000,000, but could also include €30,000,000 in future fees and bonuses to make the deal more attractive to Liverpool, who have already rejected large bids and stated that Coutinho is not for sale.

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a move to Barcelona in the January transfer window.

There is also concern that Ozil's age (29) and his lack of form over the last 18 months with Arsenal would leave supporters feeling shortchanged after being told to expect the arrival of the much younger and more exciting Coutinho, 25. "We'll have to to think about that to see where we stand with them at the end of December".

"He's my friend and always will be, we get on very well, and of course [I will support him whatever his decision]".

"I think my game is suited to it because I'm fast and I know how to use my strength".

"It's a privilege. It's an honour to share a dressing room with him. Things with the ball, touches, dribbles..."

The German is more appealing for two major reasons: firstly, he is out of contract in the summer and would be significantly less expensive then Coutinho, who Liverpool value at over £100m.

"He's a big piece at Liverpool".

But Moreno's efforts to keep him at Anfield should be applauded, as if he can pull it off, it would be a major coup for the Reds.
