In order to install iOS 11.1.1, users could follow the path - Settings General Software Update - reports TechCrunch. Late last week we saw green bars appearing on some of the OLED screens, now we're seeing reports of "crackling" and "buzzing" sounds being emitted from the earpiece speaker. According to customer comments on social media and Apple related chat forums, it seems that most of the buzzing occurs when playing any sort of audio through the device near maximum volume.

As typical with any new release there's going to issues (just take a look at the Google Pixel 2 XL) and the iPhone X is no exception.

"We are aware of instances where the iPhone X screen will become temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid change to a cold environment".

This is not the first issue which iPhone X users are reporting. "After several seconds the screen will become fully responsive again", Apple said in a statement to USA TODAY Friday.

Green line issue: A green line has appeared on the edges of some of the devices. The update also fixes the issue posed by a bug disrupting the use of Siri, Apple's voice assistant.

The problem was brought to Apple's notice after many iPhone X users in colder climates reported their screens becoming unresponsive as soon as they ventured out in the cold with their phones. Some users have claimed that it does not go away when the phone is shut off or restored.

As stated by Mashable, the issue was raised by a Reddit user and several others chimed in saying they too have experienced the similar problem. It's unclear at the moment whether or not this can be fixed with a firmware update, or if Apple will have to make some hardware changes on the iPhone X to prevent this happening with future devices.
