The autocorrect glitch began appearing after the release of iOS 11.1 last week. iOS 11.1 brought updates to devices, including dozens of emojis, updates to the Photo app and other improvements. Simply open the Settings app on your iOS device then tap on General and then Software Update. If you are still on iOS 10, you also get all of the new iOS 11 features with this upgrade.

We're still waiting to see whether iCloud syncing for iMessages will arrive in iOS 11.2 also.

Luckily, a permanent patch is now available with the latest version of the software, iOS 11.1.1.

Users can also use their Apple Watch to send money, much like they would a normal message, and if you are feeling particularly lazy, a "Hey Siri" request will work as well.

When Apple Pay launched in September 2014, United Kingdom iPhone users did not receive the feature until nearly a year later (July 2015).

Apple finally has a fix for that keyboard bug that's been going around.

An update to Apple Pay that lets users send money to one another through iMessage will not be available to United Kingdom residents. Yet.

Ever since iOS 11.1 came out a week ago, many iPhone users complained about the glitch that automatically replaced a lower case "i" with unusual characters in their pithy texts and social media posts.

What's your favourite iOS 11.1 feature?
