The 2016 Honda Odyssey is part of the second massive recall of the popular minivan in the past two years.

Honda Motor Co. issued a recall for Odyssey minivans that will be affecting some 800,000 to 900,000 vehicle owners.

The company announced the recall, which includes models from 2011 to 2017, on Saturday.

Honda offered instructions to Odyssey owners to make sure the affected second-row seats are securely latched. Customers can call Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138 for additional information.

Honda has put instructions on its website for properly latching the seat (http://staging.owners.honda.com/service-maintenance/static/pdfs/6SH%20Second%20Row%20Seat%20Instructions%20Final.pdf) and is working for a remedy to fix the issue.

The Fix: Honda is now investigating the appropriate repairs, which will be done for free.

Honda said it has received 46 reports of minor injuries related to this issue.

What Owners Should Do: Honda will begin notifying owners in late December.
