Florida State reschedules game with ULM

The Florida State Seminoles have rescheduled their home game against the ULM Warhawks for Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, the school announced on Tuesday. Bryant returned healthy two weeks ago in beating Georgia Tech, then overcame a poor start at North Carolina State to rally Clemson to the win. He'll try to keep it going against Clemson's tough run defence in what once seemed like it would be the marquee ACC game of the season - before Florida State opened with five losses in seven games.

The Florida State Seminoles have been known traditionally for a high-powered offense that featured speed at the wide receiver position, bruising running backs, talented quarterbacks and an offensive line with National Football League talent.

"I appreciate the efforts of our administration as well as the administration and Coach Viator at ULM to get this game rescheduled", Seminoles Coach Jimbo Fisher said in a statement. "So, we know they're going to be fired up and it's Clemson-Florida State, just like any time we play Florida State-high-stakes, high-intensity, a lot of emotion, so we know what we're getting into". It may take a while, but Clemson will do what many others have done and wear down the Florida State defense, pulling away in the second half.

But for the Tigers to accomplish that impressive feat, they understand that must first take care of a Seminole team that is playing not only to spoil the Tigers' season, but to make a bowl game for the 36th consecutive season.

The would help the Seminoles' program benefit from hosting its sixth home game of the season, as well as on the field where the team hopes to become bowl eligible this season.

"So, us as players, we know how hard that can be as a player".

Freshman quarterback James Blackman, who was thrust into the starting role when Francois went down, has had his good and bad moments, and freshman running back Cam Akers is coming off a 199-yard game in the Seminoles' 27-24 win against Syracuse last week.

FSU could also potentially get senior running back Jacques Patrick (Timber Creek HS) back for Saturday's game.

"We're playing for something", Bryant said. Those guys are huge on the perimeter. While it is true that this is a sign that Bryant is back to good health, it's doubtful that Dabo Swinney wants a quarterback coming off a foot injury to carry the ball that many times against the Seminoles.
