Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to share the news of Firangi's postponement.

Curiously, even if it has been banned in three states sight unseen, Padmavati was cleared by the Britian's censor board, with a release date that still states 1 December.

Kapil Shama in a recent interview told people always thought that I only can do the comedy in acting but there is a lot of more to show from me to the audience.

We all have been waiting to see Kapil Sharma back on TV and here is good news for his fans. In that case, the film will stick to its original release date (November 24). Says a source from the team, "The film has been sent to the CBFC (Central Board Of Film Certification), but it has not been certified yet".

Founded in 2016 as a film production house, K9 Films (K9) is owned by the renowned actor and stand-up comedian of the industry Kapil Sharma.

Padmavati was supposed to release on December 1 and now that date is free because no producer wanted to release their film with Padmavati. "If they (makers) want a certificate on time, it is advisable that they take this much time into consideration". The certification might happen today.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor was supposed to be the next big release in Bollywood. But Firangi, set in the backdrop of India in the 1920s under the British rule comes across as a very different film.
