The first footage from the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has landed and it has us all gooey for our very own baby raptor. Fallen Kingdom's supporting cast will include several newcomers to the larger Jurassic Park/World franchise, along with some familiar faces - perhaps most noteworthy of all, Jeff Goldblum back in the role of the eccentric chaotician Ian Malcolm.

'Til then, we'll wait in eager anticipation for the first trailer, which according to Popculture.com, is likely to be released during screenings of The Last Jedi, which starts from December 14 in Australia. Until life finds a way and that becomes a reality, we'll have to settle for this brief glimpse of what appears to be a baby raptor upstaging the returning Chris Pratt, which has been tweeted by the film's producer, Colin Trevorrow...

Numerous original 1993 "Jurassic Park" film figures are still in the dinosaur franchise into 2018. Trevorrow co-writes with Derek Connolly, with J.A. Bayona directing.

As an early Thanksgiving treat it seems, Colin Trevorrow has gone ahead and unveiled the first public footage from the film online, in the form of a short clip.

Now, if we could just get our claws on a full-length trailer.

The sequel will be released on June 22, 2018, three years after Jurassic World opened. In addition to Pratt, Howard and Goldblum, Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda and Justice Smith will help round out the sequel's leads.
