Clemson won the game 38-31 after Wolfpack quarterback Ryan Finley threw an interception near the goal line. On Tuesday, Swinney said Doeren had not called to discuss the incident, but that it challenged "out integrity".

Well, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney managed to turn the tables on the sign-stealing accusation by bringing up the evil NC State genius who wouldn't stop stealing Kelly Bryant's towel. After Saturday's loss, NC State coach Dave Doeren not only complained about the officiating but also apparently had been alerted to the fact that a laptop was spotted on Clemson's sideline, which if used for coaching would be a violation of ACC rules.

The zinger here: "I think the investigation needs to be watching his sideline and not worrying about ours". I followed instructions to do some investigation, and I did.

Two years ago when Clemson played in Raleigh a Wolfpack staff member shoved Deshaun Watson on N.C. State's sideline. We had a crisis. This year, we got some guy take a swipe at (Tigers defensive back) K'Von (Wallace). We were trying to get one of them drones to come in and drop some towels on the sideline, you know, but it just didn't work out.

"We need some towels and at least 15 bucks", Swinney added later.

"A laptop? No, I have no idea", Swinney said. "What do they do with those towels?"
