Carrie Underwood Injured in Fall Outside of Home

Carrie Underwood has spoken out after reportedly falling on steps outside her home last week.

The 34-year-old singer's accident took place on Friday, two days after she co-hosted the 2017 CMA Awards, ABC News reported.

Carrie Underwood made fans worry after she suffered a "hard fall" at her Nashville, Tennessee, home and had to be hospitalized.

Numeorus fans replied to Underwood's update with well wishes, words of admiration and hopes she would heal up soon.

Furthermore, her representative stated that her husband, Mike Fisher, 37, was able to drive back to her town that night so he could stay by her side while she recovered in the hospital. "I'll be alright. might just take some time. glad I've got the best hubby in the world to take care of me". She's also since spoken out about her condition after she was released from the hospital.

The statement said that Underwood's recovery will "take some time" and that the singer "appreciates all prayers and well wishes".

As such, she will be unable to perform during the Country Rising benefit concert that is scheduled for Sunday night (Nov. 12) in Nashville.

Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt and Keith Urban are some of the performers expected to take the stage for the Sunday benefit event.
