Boston Red Sox 2018 spring training schedule announced

The White Sox open play the same day against the Dodgers in Glendale. The Sox will be the visitors against the defending National League champions, with whom they share their spring training complex.

The Red Sox will also host the World Series champion Houston Astros on March 24, and hold a free open house at JetBlue Park on February 17 from 11 3 p.m. Some of the highlights on the schedule include two games against the Boston Red Sox in March.

The Nationals' 15-game home slate will feature seven contests against National League East foes (Miami, New York, and Atlanta), as well as match-ups against the St. Louis Cardinals (March 11, 16, & 25), and Detroit Tigers (March 4).

Tue., March 6 - at Chicago Cubs at Mesa, 1 p.m. In addition to training at a shared facility, they will play each other six times during the Cactus League schedule, and then play each three more times at Chase Field, March 29-31, in the opening series of the regular season. The game against the Knights should be a fun watch considering all the future White Sox expected to make their way to the big leagues over the next couple seasons. Chicago Cubs, 7 p.m.
